Customer Service


I will provide quality customer service through individual efforts and collaboration with other County departments and governmental agencies. I will continue to work both with the public and other business entities to provide the quality service that you deserve.

Ease of Access


I will continue to improve public convenience and access to documents recorded within the Register of Deeds Office. Documents are not only easily retrievable by office staff for in-office requests but are also retrievable through the Register of deeds website, giving the customer an opportunity to retrieve copies of their documents free of charge.

Transparency


I will promote transparency by transitioning paper documents into electronic format and making them available on the internet.

Preservation


I will continue to make archiving a priority so that the records may be accessible to future generations. Currently there are books, microfilms, plat maps, and a computer system for location of documents.

Advocate for all County Citizens


I work directly for all the citizens of Sedgwick County. You are my boss, which means all questions, concerns, or suggestion with our office can be an open face to face meeting with me.
